Brand kit
One ZIP, ≈2.9 MB. Includes the master favicon, Apple touch icon, PWA
icons, all three OG cards (SVG + PNG), the 21-second cold-load demo
(H.264 + AV1 + poster), and BRAND.md with palette,
type, asset index, and the don'ts list.
Press graphic
Six-card panel as a single SVG (vector, infinite scale) and a 1200×630 PNG sized for social cards. Both share the same primitives so the Twitter, OG, and embed views remain visually consistent.
Cold-load demo
Twenty-one seconds, no edits. Cold load → click the launch question chip → six voices stream in parallel → the judge view names the crux → the product returns Truth Factor, Assumption X-Ray, and a Decision Brief.
One-paragraph summary
DebateGPT is a six-voice AI debate product. You ask one hard question and six distinct voices — a power attorney, an operator investor, a screen icon, a tech magnate, a contrarian thinker, and a heavyweight generalist — stream their positions in parallel, rebut each other, and surface the load-bearing disagreement. A local Truth Factor scores argument quality across support, balance, pressure, and clarity, while Assumption X-Ray and Decision Brief turn the debate into fragile assumptions, mind-change triggers, risks, and next move. The product is built around one constraint: friction. Most chat assistants are designed to agree; this one is designed to push back.
What is new
- Six parallel speakers via Server-Sent Events from one of Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, Groq, or xAI — chosen per speaker.
- The crux — a judge view that names the dispositive question and the mind-change triggers.
- Truth Factor — local heuristic for argument quality, never a fact-check verdict.
- Assumption X-Ray — local extraction of each side's core bet and the most fragile assumption.
- Decision Brief — exportable end-state summary with risks, evidence trigger, and next move.
- $0 fallback mode — deterministic local debates for demos, testing, and visual QA without provider spend.
- Private sessions and snapshot sharing — anonymous by default, no account required.
What is deliberately absent
- No third-party analytics, no fingerprinting, no shared profile.
- No generic single-voice chatbot mode.
- No provider calls for local Decision Brief, Assumption X-Ray, or Truth Factor analysis.
- No image generation as a core feature.
- No accounts before the anonymous product is excellent.
Stack
React 19, TypeScript, Vite 6, Vercel AI SDK v6 with Anthropic, Google, OpenAI, Groq, and xAI providers, OpenAI for voice playback, deployed on Vercel. No database, no Docker, no auth.
Founder note
I built this because I was tired of asking AI hard questions and getting confident, agreeable, single-voice answers that fell apart the moment a real expert pushed on them. A panel of six is closer to how I actually make decisions: argue, concede, narrow, decide. The product is the panel.
